About
Ras El Hekma is a new coastal city being developed by Modon Holding on Egypt's North Coast, near the town of the same name. It covers about 170 square kilometers with 44 kilometers of Mediterranean shoreline. The master plan includes 17 distinct precincts, the first of which is called Wadi Yemm. Wadi Yemm has a 2.5-kilometer beach, a 1.6-kilometer promenade, coastal parks, and natural lagoons. The city is designed for year-round living and includes facilities like an international airport, a business district, multiple hotels, an equestrian center, and golf courses. The project is part of a partnership between the UAE's ADQ consortium and the Egyptian government, with Modon Holding as the master developer. For buyers, this is a large-scale, state-backed urban development that aims to function as a complete city rather than a standalone resort.
