The Waterway Developments (also operating as Equity Developments) is an Egyptian developer founded in 2010, led by Eng. Ahmed El Swedy and Eng. Hossam Hassan, with ties to the El Sewedy business group. Its portfolio spans residential, commercial, mixed-use, and coastal projects across New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital, the North Coast, and Port Said — including notable compounds like Waterway East, Triangle, W55, and Downtown Port Said. With around 14 projects in its pipeline, the developer focuses on building integrated communities that combine sizable green areas, retail components, and amenities such as clubhouses and swimming pools.
