Katameya, New Cairo

About

A sub-area within New Cairo historically associated with Egypt's pioneering golf-community developments, anchored by an 18-hole championship golf course that opened in the 1990s. The "Katameya" name is a branding lineage rather than a strict geographic label: many compounds that carry the Katameya prefix sit physically in the adjacent Fifth Settlement rather than in Katameya itself. Predominantly a low-density villa and twinhouse market with premium per-sqm pricing.
