Shababeek is a residential compound in the North House area of New Cairo's Fifth Settlement, developed by Marquee Developments. Spread across 13 to 15 feddans, the project dedicates roughly 82% of its land to green spaces, water features, and open areas, with buildings occupying only about 18% of the site. This low-density design prioritizes openness and natural light. The master plan was prepared by architect Moharam Bakhoum, with architecture by Mohamed Talaat Architects and landscape design by Okoplan. The compound includes studios, apartments, duplexes, and villas, and offers a full suite of amenities: landscaped gardens, an artificial lake, swimming pools, a clubhouse, kids' play areas, jogging and cycling tracks, a gym, commercial retail, restaurants and cafes, a medical clinic, a hotel apartment complex, underground parking, and 24/7 security.
