About
Ramla is a coastal destination developed by Marakez in Ras El Hekma, designed around the idea of slow, soulful living by the sea. The project spans roughly 400 feddans with a 1.4 km private beach and a master plan shaped by WATG, the international architecture firm. Its layout is organized into distinct neighborhoods, each with its own character, connected by sandy walkways that lead to a central lagoon, a sports campus, and a village street lined with shops and cafés. A five-star hotel and a nature lodge are part of the offering. The design prioritizes openness and ease, with building orientations that capture the Mediterranean breeze. Unit types include standalone villas, twin houses, chalets, and duplexes, all finished with materials like porcelain, marble, and solid wood doors.
