Soma Bay is a developer that created a large, integrated coastal destination on a peninsula on the Red Sea, about 45 km south of Hurghada International Airport. Founded in 1991, the company transformed the area into a year-round resort community spanning roughly 10 million square meters, with about 11 km of coastline on three sides. The master plan dedicates over 70% of the land to open and green spaces, keeping density low. The destination includes 8 international hotels, a championship golf course, a yacht marina, and multiple residential phases offering a range of unit types from apartments to standalone villas. Backed by the Olayan Group, the developer has a track record of building a self-contained destination where hospitality, leisure, and residential components coexist, making it a known name among Red Sea coastal developments.
