About
The Residence in New Cairo's Fifth Settlement is a residential compound developed by Salam Properties that integrates a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel into its fabric—a rare feature for a project of this scale. The compound sits opposite the American University in Cairo, near the Golden Square and the Lotus district, placing it within reach of the area's main roads and service hubs. Designed by architect Dr. Mohamed Hafez, the 11.5-acre site devotes 80% of its land to landscaping and water features, with just 20% built up across twelve mid-rise buildings. Each building rises four floors plus a penthouse level, with two underground parking levels beneath. The project also incorporates a partnership with e& Egypt to deliver smart-home infrastructure and high-speed connectivity, and an agreement with Real Madrid Academy for a sports academy on site. The mix includes studios, one-to-three-bedroom apartments, and penthouses.
