About
Swar is a mixed-use project in El Shorouk City, developed by Golden Pillars Developments, the company behind the International Tadawy Hospital in the New Administrative Capital. The project sits directly opposite the British University (BUE) at the city's main entrance, placing it in the path of daily student and visitor foot traffic. It combines ground-floor retail with hotel units on the upper four floors, managed by Rotana, a hospitality operator with a presence across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The master plan emphasises outdoor spaces: a public plaza with water features, shaded seating, and alfresco dining areas woven through the landscape. The name 'Swar' (meaning 'bracelet' in Arabic) was chosen to reflect the idea of a complete, enclosing circuit of services around the investor and visitor. Designed by Arch Capital Consultancy, the building uses modern glass facades and a layout that separates commercial activity from hotel accommodation.
