Najm is a residential compound in the Golden Triangle area of New Cairo's Sixth Settlement, developed by Royal Developments. It is positioned on one of the highest points in the city, roughly 425 meters above sea level, which gives the project its name — Najm means "star" in Arabic. The compound spans about 17 acres, with only 18 percent of the land built up and the rest given to landscaping, water features, and pedestrian paths. The layout is designed so that most apartments face open views with no direct overlooking from neighboring buildings. Homes range from studios and one- to three-bedroom apartments to sky lofts and Green Valley units with direct access to the promenade. The community includes clubhouses, infinity pools, an outdoor cinema, cycling tracks, a spa, and a commercial strip. The architecture was handled by Yasser El Beltagy Architects. Royal Developments is a local developer with a small portfolio of projects in the Sixth Settlement.
