About
Il Latini New Alamein is a coastal residential district developed by Saudi Egyptian Developers (SED), a firm established in 1975 as a joint venture between the Saudi Arabian and Egyptian governments. The project occupies 650 acres at Kilo 109 on the Alexandria-Marsa Matrouh coastal road, placing it within the expanding New Alamein city, near the Heritage City and the international universities zone. The district's architecture draws from European neoclassical traditions, with building facades and layouts inspired by Greco-Roman and Latin styles. The master plan is organized into six residential zones, offering apartments, chalets, studios, and penthouses. Facilities include landscaped gardens, an artificial lake, swimming pools, a sports club, a commercial mall, medical clinics, and a school. The design prioritizes walkability and green spaces, with the aim of creating a year-round community rather than a seasonal resort. SED's role in developing the Latin District is part of the broader New Alamein city plan, which positions this project as a central residential district within a fourth-generation urban destination.
