Il Monte Galala is a mountain-and-sea resort in Ain Sokhna developed by Tatweer Misr, designed as a year-round destination that sits atop the Galala mountain range. The project spans 2.24 million square meters with a 1.4-kilometer shoreline and includes the world's first mountain-top swimmable lagoon, created in partnership with Crystal Lagoons. The master plan was conceived by Italian architect Gianluca Peluffo and Partners, drawing inspiration from Portofino. Residents have access to a wide range of amenities including an adventure park, an art walkway, a vintage old town with shops and dining, a sports zone, and a spa. The resort also features a marina managed by IGY Marinas, with capacity for over 150 yachts. The location is about a one-hour drive from Cairo, making it accessible as a weekend getaway.
