De Joya 1 by Taj Misr Developments is a residential compound in the New Administrative Capital's R8 district, positioned between the Tourist Walkway and the Diplomatic Quarter. The project occupies about 23.5 acres, with roughly 80% of the land given to green spaces, artificial lakes, fountains, and amenities rather than buildings. Developed by Taj Misr, the company behind the De Joya series of compounds, the project features a clubhouse, swimming pools, a fitness centre, a strip mall, cycling and jogging tracks, and landscaped gardens. The architectural design was developed with Space Engineering Consulting, led by engineer Medhat Dora.
