About
Begonia Residence is a residential compound in New Cairo's Fifth Settlement, developed by Menassat Developments. The project is named after the begonia flower, and its design draws on that theme with a modern European architectural style and a low-density layout. About 80% of the 26-acre site is given over to landscaped gardens and water features, giving the compound a resort-like feel. The buildings rise to a ground floor plus four levels, with staggered heights intended to allow light and air to reach the homes. Unit types include studios, one- to three-bedroom apartments, ground-floor units with private gardens, duplexes, and sky terrace units. On-site amenities include a clubhouse with a pool and spa, a fitness centre, a commercial area with shops, restaurants and cafes, medical clinics, a beauty centre, event spaces, a barbecue area, children's play areas, and a 24-hour security system. The compound sits near the intersection of Gamal Abdel Nasser and Mohamed Naguib axes, placing it close to the American University in Cairo, Cairo Festival City, and the New Administrative Capital.
