Imkan Misr, formerly known as Capital Group Properties, entered the Egyptian market in 2015 and is the Egyptian arm of Abu Dhabi Capital Group and Al Ain Properties Overseas. The developer is primarily known for its flagship project, Al Burouj, a large-scale integrated community in El Shorouk City. Al Burouj is designed as a low-density residential city, with the master plan developed by the international consultancy Sites International. The community is organized into phases named after celestial constellations and stars, and it includes a diverse mix of housing, extensive green spaces, and a wide range of amenities such as schools, a medical center, a business park, and a cultural center. Imkan Misr's approach focuses on creating self-contained, master-planned environments that blend residential living with commercial and recreational facilities. The developer's track record in Egypt is centered on this single, large-scale project, which continues to be developed in phases.
